Carlo Nohea Pure is a Hawaiʻi-born mixed media painter whose ever‑evolving work channels an aloha-infused vision of “Outer Space Tropical,” where familiar island scenes drift into dreamlike, cosmic space. His paintings often feel like portals—old-style cottages, quiet Kaimukī streets, and Kauaʻi memories floating in transcendent terrains and sublime seascapes—guided by the spirit of “Aʻohe loa i ka hana a ke aloha / Our distance is ignored by love.”
